My recent projects focus on developing machine learning and deep learning models for medical image analysis, disease prediction, and intelligent IoT-based systems, emphasizing accuracy, explainability, and real-world applicability.

Design of predictive models using ensemble learning and neural networks to diagnose and forecast diseases including cardiovascular conditions and neurodegenerative disorders.

Development of CNN and transfer learning models for automated detection and classification of diseases such as brain tumors and Alzheimer’s from MRI and medical imaging data.

Web / Multipage DesigImplementation of interpretable AI techniques (e.g., SHAP, LIME, Grad-CAM) to enhance transparency and clinical trust in medical diagnosis systems.n

Education

I completed my FSc (Pre-Engineering) in 2001 from Pakistan International Public School & College Abbottabad. In 2007, I earned a BS in Computer Science from COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus. I then pursued higher studies at International Islamic University, Islamabad, where I completed my MS in Electronic Engineering in 2010, followed by a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering in 2017.

Experience

I have over 12 years of academic experience in Computer Science, serving as Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor, and teaching courses including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Image Processing, and Advanced Algorithms. I have supervised more than 42 M.Phil./MS students and currently mentor Ph.D. scholars, while also contributing to thesis evaluations and academic quality assurance. I have held key leadership roles such as Head of Department, Director Research, Associate Dean, and Dean, leading academic planning, research management, and curriculum development. In addition, my industry experience as a web developer and software professional enables me to integrate research-driven knowledge with practical, real-world applications.
